The only lasting effects so far from my accident on 3.26.08 is the tearing of the meniscus cartilege in my right knee. The way it is repaired is by cutting it our or trying to sew it up. Then maybe my knee won’t hurt so badly. I will probably be going in for the Surgery at the end of July after Brenda (my daughter) has her twins. I am still working but if the pain gets too bad my doctor said he would put me on light duty. We don’t have light duty where I work so I would just be sitting home and they need me really badly at work so I will try and tuff it out. Thanks again for all your prayers.

I just wanted to thank everyone for praying for me and for all the calls and concern about my recent truck accident. The Lord has truly blessed and spared my life and I will be eternally grateful. Now the Lord willing, I will be able to see the twins that Brenda will have and the new baby that Amy will have. I am so blessed and that will be 12 grandchildren. What a wonderful life I have had. We all must suffer pain and heartache in this life but the love and peace we receive from our God and others much more out weigh those. May God continue to bless you all.

A Semi driver ran a red light and turned my truck almost 180 degrees. There isn’t much that can give in those circumstances. I am still and will always be so glad and thankful that God spared me. I am still suffering with lower back, neck and knee pain and vision impairment at times but I can live with all that. I am so happy I still get to see my grandchildren growing and living their lives.

New family web site
Well my oldest brother Chub is trying to set up a web site and get it going so we can all keep in touch but He is having problems with it and getting no help from the company that hosts it. I told him we could use wordpress and make out own family blog and we wouldn’t need any help. So we will see if we can work this out or have to start a new one. Stay tuned campers. Thought I would throw in this photo.

My grandson Christian was over the other day and he took these photos of the little puppies we have. The mother had nine puppies and we are just now learning to prepare their tails. Still Glad To Be Alive
On 3/26/08 I was entering an intersection on a green light when a semi truck driver ran a red light and struck the passenger side of my 22 ft Box truck. I didn’t know what hit me and suffered a concussion and a four inch cut on my head. The other driver turned his truck over when he hit me and rode to the hospital in the same ambulance I did. My head had to be staples with ten staples. My back and neck and right leg aren’t doing to well but I am still alive Praise God. I will have photos of the trucks posted here soon so stay tuned in.

This was a real hard thing to create but I made it. I guess this wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be though. Well we all have to start somewhere and I guess this is the beginning of blogging for me. Almost sixty and time to blog, what a deal.
